YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR DRIVING AMBITION

You can be driving safely and competently with the help of a five or ten day residential Car Driver Training Course held at Torquay, 'The English Riviera', in glorious Devon.

Intensive Courses by The Locke School of Motoring have proved to be an unparallelled success.

COURSE DETAILS

Three, five or ten day course are available, starting Monday morning, finishing Friday afternoon (or Driving Test time, if earlier in day). For pupils over 30 years of age or very nervous, we recommend a ten day course.

All our cars are: FULLY DUAL CONTROLLED and FULLY INSURED

Manual and automatic cars available. Recent models: at time of going to press the fleet consists of Renault Clios.

The Courses are designed to cater for all ages and ability levels - from the complete novice wishing to pass the L Test, to the experienced driver requiring tuition. Courses are based in Torquay 'The English Riviera', but involve travelling to other areas including Brixham, Paignton, Exmouth, Dawlish, Dartmouth & Teignmouth and, for City Skills, Exeter and Plymouth.

As winters are mild with no major weather problems, courses take place throughout the year except Christmas week. For those taking Residential Courses, accommodation (at an additional cost) will be supplied by the Banksea Hotel, Torquay, a very friendly family run hotel where Bob will be pleased to welcome you.

All rooms have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities and, situated close to the town centre and sea front. The hotel will provide an excellent base for any holiday activities you wish to indulge in during your course. Candidates are met each day at the hotel by their individual instructors and returned in time for dinner each evening. Non-residential candidates will be met at home or by mutual arrangement.

Enclosed with our information sheet are the Theory and the Practical Driving Test Application Forms. Please complete forms in full and send to the appropriate address. Alternatively, the Practical or Theory Tests can be applied for by credit card - telephone the DSA on 0870 0101372.

Your remittance or deposit to secure the course required should be forwarded to D. Locke.

Full payment should be made at least 28 days prior to start of course.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You will need to produce your provisional licence before tuition can commence.

EYESIGHT: The Department for Transport Eyesight Test requires you to read a car number plate at a distance of 67 feet or 20.5m. If you have any doubts about your eyesight, please consult a qualified Optometrist as soon as you can.
